The Divine 9 of ABQ is the coordination umbrella for Albuquerque's Alumni Black Greek Letter Organizations (BGLOs). This site shall serve as a public forum to publicize events, provide contact information and present a means of communication with and among the member organizations. While there are nine historically Black Greek Letter Organizations, commonly referred to as "the Divine Nine" there are currently eight alumni organizations present in Albuquerque. The Divine Nine (in order of founding) are: Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc., Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc., and Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Inc.

Saturday, June 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd, 2018 - Sandia National Laboratories' Black Leadership Committee will host their annual Hands-On-Minds-On-Technology Summer Program at Albuquerque High School. The program exposes students to fun, hands-on, science and engineering activities that provide young people an opportunity to explore a host of STEM careers. Many members of the ABQD9 organizations volunteer as instructors, class-aids, chaperones and lunch servers. For more information, click the "more" button at the left.

Saturday, June 16th, 2018 - The ladies of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. cordially invite you to participate in an International Cultural and Entrepreneurial Exchange entitled, “Journey to Albuquerque”. Held in conjunction with the MOVE NEW MEXICO! Health Fair at the the Juneteenth Celebration located in Kirtland Park, 2903 University Blvd. SE, ABQ NM 87106. Saturday, June 30th, 2018 - Join the ladies of the Delta Milaje for the Welcome to Wakanda Day Party at the Nexus Silver Taproom, 2641 Coors Boulevard NW on Saturday June 30 at 2pm. Wear your favorite African and Afro-centric attire. There will be table games, movie trivia, music by DJ Scandalous and a few more surprises!
